About Us

    The Fredericksburg Regional Society for Human Resource Management is an affiliate of SHRM, the world's largest association devoted to human resource management. FRSHRM is made up of members who live and/or work throughout the entire Fredericksburg Region. The localities are linked by the scenic Rappahannock River. The chapter is a Merit Award winner.

    FRSHRM meets for breakfast or lunch on the second Thursday of each month (excluding the month of July). The Chapter provides career development and education through seminars, workshops and presentations as well as offers the opportunity to network with other HR professionals.

    Mission Statement

    FRSHRM will:

    • Be the primary influencer of workplace policies and practices that benefit our members and the organizations they serve;
    • Build a broad and actively engaged membership that ensures dissemination of leading practices to the workplace;
    • Be the major source for building strong competencies and developing the talent and leadership of people in our organizations; and
    • Ensure a solid financial structure that permits reinvestment in initiatives and learning that advances the state of the profession.
