    Diversity AND Inclusion

    • Valuing diversity and creating inclusiveness are both the right things to do and smart business.
    • The presence of diversity does not guarantee inclusiveness.
    • Inclusiveness is the act or process of using the information, tools, skills, insights, and other talents that each individual has to offer for the mutual benefit and gain of everyone.  
    • Inclusiveness provides everyone with opportunities to contribute their thoughts, ideas, and concerns.
    • Inclusiveness results in people feeling valued and respected.
    • Inclusiveness requires conscious decisions and actions. It is achieved by the presence, alignment, and demonstration of policies, procedures, and individual behavior.
    • To create an inclusive organization, everyone must be included.
