Join the Fredericksburg SHRM Chapter for our April meeting as Burt Thompson discusses, "How to Avoid the Sting of Unknown Risks Through HR Threat Assessments." Burt will examine numerous risks that HR Departments often face highlighting 5 critical areas of complacency, turnover, occupational fraud, catastrophic workplace events, and negligent hiring or retention. Burt will share steps that can be taken to address risks before they happen, and tips on how to minimize risks once they occur.

Burt Thompson served in the US Army and retired from Active Service in 2015, culminating over 31 years of service. Upon transition from the US Army, he established Burt K.
