    Join the Fredericksburg SHRM Chapter for our August meeting as Linda Clevenger discusses using LinkedIn as a recruiting tool.    

    LinkedIn is the Social Media site to recruit your next employee. Just as you are searching for potential employees, there is a good chance that they are also searching your profile.

    LinkedIn is much more than a Resume with a list of positions, responsibilities, and one to two lines of a goal. LinkedIn allows you to find out information about a potential employee or connection that shows their personality, beliefs, writing ability, and communication style that is not limited to what will fit within two typed pages. It can show you whether a person is a Manager vs. a Leader. Using LinkedIn to find the right person for the job is a smart choice for businesses.


    Linda is the owner of Organization Direct and since 2007 years she has been helping homeowners and businesses get organized.

    She launched Organization Direct after over 20 years of working in Corporate America, in a variety of management positions, because she realized that she worked hard to make everyone else successful so it was time to do something for herself that would impact others in a huge way.  Linda used her talents and skills to develop and build her business into her passion -  to  help families and businesses create effective systems and processes that will ease their stress and anxiety to live the life that they deserve.

    Linda also was the co-owner of Scrum Training Academy from 2014 to 2016 and utilizes the agile method of project management with her clients. In Scrum the role of the Scrum Master is a Servant Leader and this is what Linda loves to do…serve others.

    Originally from NJ, Linda moved here in 1992 with her husband and 3 children as their twilight tour with the Marine Corps. Linda and Marty have been married for 36 years and enjoy traveling in their RV, going to UVA football games and spending time with their 6 grandchildren.

    Since 2013 Linda has been working with professionals and business owners throughout the US to help them build their presence and network, find new positions to reach professional goals, connect with their network and help businesses utilize LinkedIn to find the right employees. Linda currently has over 5000 LinkedIn connections and manages 2 groups of over 15,000 members.
